Mizzou's KCOU

The University of Missouri's campus radio station KCOU offers entertaining radio shows to students and Columbia, MO residents on 88.1 FM.

Members of the KCOU team work on material before the radio shows.  In 1972 KCOU became the first exclusively student run radio station in US history.

Some of KCOU's shows include "Doctor's Lounge" where the host discusses recent health issues and answers call-ins from people wondering about their own health, and "The Pulse" which airs week nights from 5-6 pm and informs listeners about what is happening in Columbia.

Dj Lil Love poses for a portait outside the KCOU office on March 31, 2015. He has worked at KCOU as a radio host for over two years.

KCOU also airs "The Riot Radio Show" hosted by DJ Lil Love.  This show entertains listeners with wacky stories, sports news, DJ mixes, random poetry, and brand new music. When asked about his job, DJ Lil Love replied, "Hell yeah I love my job!" His spunk and radio personality draw in listeners from all over Mizzou's campus.

DJ Lil Love hosts his radio show. He worked in St. Louis for Clear Channel before coming to Mizzou.

KCOU's radio shows offer an exciting mix of news, entertainment, and music that appeals to all college students.
